What’s a typical day like in your job?

Mostly involves meetings with product owners should there be any queries and solution implementations.

What are the some of the highlights and challenges of your role?

I am still new to the bank, these are some of the challenges:

  • having to learn how things operate from a technical perspective
  • being familiar with various structures that exist in the bank
  • adjusting to the age differences in terms of the person’s position and the various cultures that exist in different teams

How do you keep up to date with all the changes in your profession?

In the teams that I have been a part of, we would participate in a weekly meeting where a team member or I would share our knowledge on new technologies or any new work that a team member has recently completed.

What do you enjoy doing for fun outside of the office?

I enjoy spending time with family by going on road trips, hanging out with friends, going to the movies, listening to music and having theoretical and intuitive conversations.
