REAP provides holistic support to NSFAS funded students originating from low income households in rural areas. We currently work with students at 16 higher education institutions.
Must have matriculated from a school in a rural area, be accepted at either UFS, CUT, UJ, UWC, NMU or UKZN. Must have applied for and secured NSFAS funding.
What does the bursary or scholarship offering entail e.g. tuition, accommodation, meal allowance, etc.
REAP offers top up funding to NSFAS – a stipend of R6000 per year (R600 per month x 10), a laptop computer, personalized psychosocial support, academic monitoring, life skills training via camps and workshops.
